Cleaning Tapestries at University House

Three tapestries celebrating Nobel Prize Winners associated with ANU.

The commissioned tapestries at University House have to be cleaned. This will involve taking down the tapestries, vacuuming lightly back and front and inspecting for any signs of insect activity before re-hanging. tapestries can also be frozen to make sure any insects are destroyed.

The four tapestries, designed and woven by Valerie Kirk, can be viewed by the public at University House, The Australian National University, Canberra, ACT, Australia.
