From the early 1970s, the Tamworth Fibre Textile

Biennial, managed by Tamworth Regional Gallery,

has provided audiences with an exciting and vibrant

survey exhibition of contemporary fibre textiles. It is

recognised as Australia’s pre-eminent textile-related

exhibition and includes works from across the nation.
